General Information

Floridian National Golf Club is an 18-hole private golf club located in Palm City, Florida. The course is home to the Harmon Golf Academy. PGA Tour professionals Dustin Johnson, Brookes Koepke and Ricky Fowler are amount the world’s best golfers that call The Floridian their home course.

In 2017, Owner Jim Crane retained Herfort Norby to create a 9-hole par three course as an instructional facility for members and PGA Tour Professionals. The course was positioned on the inter-coastal waterway on a narrow piece of property that was originally platted for residential homesites. The course includes nine par three holes ranging from 95 yards to 155 yards and was designed to provide a variety of shot options with sculpted fairways and approaches, large greens and deep riveted bunkers.

The project utilizes reclaimed water and incorporates nearly 4 acres of low maintenance landscape areas.

Project Schedule & Budget

Construction began in June of 2017 and was completed in October of 2017, The course opened for play on December of 2017. The project was completed on time and under budget - even with a delay and damage from hurricane Irma on September 10, 2017.

Herfort Norby was responsible for all aspects of the project including conceptual design, cost estimating, detailed plans and specifications, bid oversight and construction observation.
